📝 Advent is Starting. Don't panic!

Advent begins this Sunday. Are you panicking, just a little?

I love Advent, but it stresses me out! It would always sneak up on me while in a turkey and pie-induced coma post-Thanksgiving, and I’d feel behind the entire season. Chocolate coins would forget to be purchased until the night before St. Nicholas Day, Advent wreaths would be without candles, and my poor Advent devotional would be forgotten each day in the morning rush. Preparing for Christ’s birth felt a lot more like guilt, overwhelm, and shame.

Let's change all that this year

I created Prepare the Way: An Intentional Advent Toolkit to help break down the process of planning Advent into manageable chunks while maintaining focus on Jesus and having a little fun along the way. With guided audios to walk you through the process, you can map out the next four weeks all at once or over several days. You can even listen while baking your pumpkin pie. The key is to get you crystal clear on how you want Advent to FEEL, as opposed to everything you think you have to DO.

The toolkit also comes with a beautiful music playlist to listen to each day and…a HIGHLY requested…Advent ambience playlist so you can plan in a winter monastery while listening to the rosary prayed in Latin, or in a cozy Christmas reading nook with crackling fireplace sounds. If you haven’t experienced Ambience Rooms then you are missing out on a fantastic tool to help you feel calm, relaxed, and reverent during prayer, work, and more. I created a playlist for Holy Hallowtide and you all loved it and asked for more, so you've got it! You'll also receive ongoing planning resources for each week in Advent, and a curated December Prayer Planner.

The Intentional Advent Toolkit is available now for everyone! Grab it now and let’s feel prepared and peaceful for Advent to begin this Sunday.

I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving!

It once had its own octave for the eight days of Allhallowtide, but that was discontinued in 1955. It’s a beautiful practice to focus your prayer on the...
